GOLF AND A GREAT CAUSE
Stoke Park Country Club & Spa’s charity PGA pro-am in support of the Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service on Thursday, September 13, will see professionals battling it out for a £12,500 prize fund, while also competing, with their amateurs, for the team title.
The entry fee includes a welcome gift, coffee and a breakfast bap on arrival, 18 holes of golf, a three-course meal and individual prizes. Hole sponsorships are also available. Team entry costs £660 and must be registered before August 22, but if you miss that this is still a day to go along and support a worthwhile cause and see some great golf.
The Maidenhead-based Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice Service funds ‘Alexander’s Nurses’ who support families in their own homes, providing much needed respite and palliative care. The service building a children’s hospice for these families, which will be supported by a home care team.
