Stoke Park Coun­try Club & Spa’s char­ity PGA pro-am in sup­port of the Alexan­der Devine Chil­dren’s Hospice Ser­vice on Thurs­day, Septem­ber 13, will see pro­fes­sion­als bat­tling it out for a £12,500 prize fund, while also com­pet­ing, with their ama­teurs, for the team ti­tle.

The en­try fee in­cludes a wel­come gift, cof­fee and a break­fast bap on ar­rival, 18 holes of golf, a three-course meal and in­di­vid­ual prizes. Hole spon­sor­ships are also avail­able. Team en­try costs £660 and must be reg­is­tered be­fore Au­gust 22, but if you miss that this is still a day to go along and sup­port a worth­while cause and see some great golf.

The Maidenhead-based Alexan­der Devine Chil­dren’s Hospice Ser­vice funds ‘Alexan­der’s Nurses’ who sup­port fam­i­lies in their own homes, pro­vid­ing much needed respite and pal­lia­tive care. The ser­vice build­ing a chil­dren’s hospice for these fam­i­lies, which will be sup­ported by a home care team.
