Simran’s a rising star
This autumn Windsor’s Simran Hunjun will grace London’s West End, as she appears in three plays as part of the National Youth Theatre.
She is currently starring in ‘Victoria’s Knickers’, which documents the love affair of a young Queen Victoria, as well as Evan Placey’s ‘Consensual’ which explores the topic of teacher and pupil relationships. Starting from 20 November, she will also appear in a new, gender fluid version of Shakespeare’s ‘Macbeth’. With these plays showing at the Soho Theatre and the Garrick Theatre, Simran is one of Berkshire’s biggest rising stars.
Simran (pictured fourth from left) has recently joined the REP Company for 19 to 25 year olds, and as a member of the NYT she follows in the famous footsteps of alumni such as Helen Mirren and Daniel Craig.
