Sim­ran’s a ris­ing star

This au­tumn Wind­sor’s Sim­ran Hun­jun will grace Lon­don’s West End, as she ap­pears in three plays as part of the Na­tional Youth Theatre.

She is cur­rently star­ring in ‘Vic­to­ria’s Knick­ers’, which doc­u­ments the love af­fair of a young Queen Vic­to­ria, as well as Evan Placey’s ‘Con­sen­sual’ which ex­plores the topic of teacher and pupil re­la­tion­ships. Start­ing from 20 Novem­ber, she will also ap­pear in a new, gen­der fluid ver­sion of Shake­speare’s ‘Mac­beth’. With these plays show­ing at the Soho Theatre and the Gar­rick Theatre, Sim­ran is one of Berk­shire’s big­gest ris­ing stars.

Sim­ran (pic­tured fourth from left) has re­cently joined the REP Com­pany for 19 to 25 year olds, and as a mem­ber of the NYT she fol­lows in the fa­mous foot­steps of alumni such as He­len Mir­ren and Daniel Craig.
