Sue the Lottery for winning? Get a grip, love!

-

‘I really hope I don’t bump into Jane Park any time soon, because I might have to give her a slap. She’s the girl who won £1 million on the National Lottery in 2013 at the age of 17, making her the youngest-ever winner at the time, with her first-ever ticket.

Predictably, she spent large sums on all those things girls her age aspire to. Giant new boobs, fillers and Botox, a customised purple Range Rover, a couple of flats, designer togs, luxury holidays…

Now 21, the ungrateful little moo is telling anyone who’ll listen that her win ruined her life. According to Jane, she (sometimes) wishes she’d never won and her life is ‘empty’ because she can’t find love. Altogether now, AH DIDDUMS!

Simple answer: give all the money away and pretend it never happened. But, as is usual for this generation of self-obsessed, over-entitled snowflakes, Jane looked around for someone to blame, and even contemplated suing Camelot for letting her buy a ticket.

Where do these young people get off? I don’t want to damn a whole generation – there are well-brought-up, sensible youngsters who understand the world doesn’t owe them a living. But it has to be said, there are a great number who don’t. They can’t bear it if they can’t have what they want – it baffles them.

I tell you what, I want someone to blame for that.’
