1 The Brit Awards 2017 WEDNESDAY, ITV, 7.30PM

Dermot O’Leary and Emma Willis present the biggest awards ceremony in the UK music calendar – broadcast live from the 02 Arena in London. The cream of British musical talent will be in attendance, with Robbie Williams, Little Mix, The 1975 and Emeli Sandé performing. The late David Bowie goes up against Skepta, Craig David, Kano and Michael Kiwanuka for British Male Solo Artist, while Beyoncé goes up against her sister, Solange, for Internatio­nal Female Solo Artist, as well as Christine and the Queens, Rihanna and Sia. 2 Gogglebox FRIDAY, CHANNEL 4, 9PM, NEW SERIES The nation’s favourite armchair critics share their opinions on what they’ve been watching during the week, as the hit series returns for the ninth time. The show has won numerous awards and has become one of the most popular shows on Channel 4. Many of the Gogglebox faces have now become celebritie­s in their own right – I’m A Celebrity… winner Scarlett Moffatt being the prime example (see showbiz news) and best favourite Sandi Bogle released a single. The dulcet tones of Craig Cash narrate.

3 Schofield’s South African Adventure FRIDAY, ITV, 9PM, NEW SERIES

In this three-part series, This Morning host Phillip Schofield ticks off a bucket list dream and travels to Gansbaai, in South Africa, to dive with one of the world’s most dangerous predators, the great white shark. 4 The House That £100k Built TUESDAY, BBC TWO, 8PM, NEW SERIES Journalist Kieran Long and architect Piers Taylor visit Co Antrim, Northern Ireland, to follow the progress of Alistair and Karen, who are hoping that building their dream home will be the key to a mortgagefr­ee life. Kieran and Piers find ingenious ways to improve the couple’s design to help them get the most out of their budget. 5 Diana: Designing A Princess SATURDAY, BBC TWO, 8PM Twenty years after her death, Diana still dazzles us – and this documentar­y, produced in collaborat­ion with the Historic Royal Palaces, looks at some of her famous outfits. It ties in with a new exhibition of her most iconic gowns, which is being held at her former home, Kensington Palace.
