1 Little Big Shots

WEDNESDAY, ITV, 8PM, NEW SERIES ‘Honestly some of the best fun I’ve ever had’ was Dawn French’s verdict on hosting this brandnew series – and its viewers should have just as good a time. Based on a hit US format, Little Big Shots gathers kids from around the world who have a unique talent and invites them to show off their skills. We’ll meet Balang, a seven-yearold dancer from the Philippine­s, 10-year-old Norwegian jazz singer Angelina, and Indian superchef Kicha, who is just six years old. There’s also home-grown talent in the form of pianist Leo, eight, from Manchester, and Junayde, a sevenyear-old Londoner who is also a kung fu warrior. The kids will be joining Dawn on an enormous revolving stage, where they get to know each other on the sofa before the talented tots show off their expertise in the performanc­e space.

TUESDAY, SKY CINEMA FAMILY Get swept away to fairy-land with this special day dedicated to fantasy fun. Heartwarmi­ng tales include the lavish Cinderella, starring Lily James and Helena Bonham Carter, romantic Ever After with Drew Barrymore, and Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland.

THURSDAY, ITV, 9PM, NEW SERIES It’s 1973, and Hackney Police Station is welcoming a new recruit – rookie WPC Jane Tennison, working on her first murder investigat­ion. Stefani Martini plays the role Helen Mirren famously made her own in this prequel based on Lynda La Plante’s novel.
