‘SIMON WINDS ME UP ABOUT EVERYTHING’
She’s the Scher-mazing star of the show, but that doesn’t stop boss Simon Cowell from winding up fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger.
Nicole, 39, has revealed that Simon has been trying to insinuate she has a blossoming romance with one of this year’s contestants – Danny Lambo. ‘Simon tries to wind me up about everything. [Danny’s] nicknamed himself [Lambo] because he has three Lamborghinis. He’s also a self-made multimillionaire. He is definitely a very different character. He came to us singing an original song, entitled Playboys!’
But despite his attempts to rile her, Nicole has revealed there was also lots of laughter away from the audition room. During a pit stop at theme park Thorpe Park, Nicole and Simon bonded over their shared love of roller coasters. The bubbly star explained, ‘There was one called Stealth, I rode it five times in a row. I’m an adrenaline junkie, and I loved it. Simon was like a kid, he was so excited!’
But it was during a water ride, Tidal Wave, that Nicole had the most fun. ‘There was me, Simon, Louis and Dermot at the front of the ride. Make sure you see the picture, it’s the greatest picture ever!’ she laughed. ‘I’m going to make wallpaper out of it for my bathroom. Dermot looks like he’s thinking, “Oh, my gosh!”, Simon looks cheeky, I look like I’m having a blast and Louis looks like he’s going to barf!’ Now that we’d like to see!
