Breakfast Christmas porridge

Heat up a sachet of Oat So Simple with 200ml skimmed milk (add milk from your allowance if you want extra). Stir in ½tsp cinnamon and a couple of pinches of nutmeg. Serve with a handful of dried fruit on the top.

Lunch Cheese and spinach omelette

In a bowl, beat 2 eggs then add a matchbox-size amount of lowfat Cheddar, grated. Tip the mixture into a non-stick pan sprayed with low-fat oil, and add 2 generous handfuls of spinach. Cook until set and serve with a couple of slices of avocado and a leafy salad.

Dinner Winter curry

Parboil 3 new potatoes, halve them, then add to a pan with a chopped courgette and a chopped carrot, 3tbsp chickpeas, sliced mushrooms and ½ jar Homepride Curry CookIn-Sauce. Cook until the veg softens. Serve curry with a teacup of cooked wholegrain rice.
