Money can’t buy you love

Graham Norton may be funny, successful and well-off (he is one of the highest paid stars at the BBC, with a salary in the £850,000 – £899,999 bracket), but he’s still looking for that special someone in his life. Graham said late last year that his singledom is something he’s ‘happy with’ – but freely admitted he’d had a string of disastrous relationships. ‘I’ve failed all my relationship exams and, yes, it’s a different life, but I’m still living,’ he revealed. ‘You’re far better off finding ways to enjoy the life you’re living than mourning the life you’re not, which is a double whammy of unhappiness.’ The Irishman added, hopefully, ‘Look like you’re having fun and someone might want to join the parade. A funeral cortege? Not so much.’
