In season now, figs contain a variety of vitamins and minerals – including vitamin C and magnesium – to help even out skin tone and hydrate it for a plumper, brighter complexion.
This recipe is great for delicate skin as we approach the winter months – if you have a very dry complexion, just add more honey to the recipe. Take two figs, scoop out the flesh and blend to a purée. Add 1tbsp brown sugar and 2tsp clear honey, mix well and smooth on to your face. Leave on for up to 10 minutes before washing off with a damp flannel.
