This week’s must-see TV

-

1 I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

SUNDAY, ITV, 9PM There’ll be rumbles in the jungle Down Under as another set of brave (or foolish?) celebs vie to be crowned king or queen of the Aussie camp. For the first time, the show will be co-presented by Holly Willoughby, who joins Declan Donnelly. Dec’s usual partner, Ant McPartlin, will be missed, but queen of daytime TV Holly is already proving to be the talk of the show – and she’s not even started yet! The blonde beauty admitted to being a little ‘scared’, but we have no doubt she’ll be a pro. And there’s more fun to be had on Extra Camp, over on ITV2 after each episode, where the hosts – 2016’s queen of the jungle Scarlett Moffatt, comic Joel Dommett and previous winner Joe Swash – will present more trials and gossip for our viewing pleasure.

2 Children In Need

FRIDAY, BBC ONE, 7.30PM The most heartwarming and hilarious night of the year. Join Graham Norton, Tess Daly and Mel Giedroyc as the annual live marathon of entertainment raises funds for needy kids. With moving films from the projects the charity supports, have your tissues close at hand!

3 We Are Most Amused And Amazed

TUESDAY, ITV, 8PM There’s a right royal party to celebrate Prince Charles’s 70th – in the form of a night of comedy and magic at the London Palladium – and we’re all invited. Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller are the hosts, and the starry line-up includes Cheryl, Kylie Minogue, Rowan Atkinson, Dynamo and Sandi Toksvig.

4 Happy Birthday, Charles

SUNDAY, TRUE ENTERTAINMENT As William and Harry’s dad turns 70, you can binge all day on a royal flush of documentaries, including King Charles And Queen Camilla: Into The Unknown, Prince William & Prince Harry –Prisoners Of Celebrity and Harry & Meghan: A Very Modern Romance. Hats off!
