Annoying relatives ruin my Christmas!

How I love the festive season! It makes me feel like an excited child – especially now that I have my first grandbaby to spend it with. But it’s also the one day of the year when I have to put up with certain demanding relatives, who I wouldn’t choose to see on any other occasion. I know they say you can’t choose your family, but if it’s meant to be the most joyful day of the year, why spend it feeling miserable?! Any pointers, Gloria? Nora, London I’m so thrilled you have a new grandchild! This will make your Christmas even more magical. In my opinion, the loving feeling of having a baby around far outweighs having to put up with relatives you wouldn’t particularly choose to spend time with. Be magnanimous and enjoy the true happiness of the baby. If anyone is winding you up, just have another newborn cuddle!
