ONE FOR THE IRISH…
Not everyone’s cup of tea (it’s just a salon-style lounge bar) with plain food including hamburgers, nachos and Irish bangers and mash, but you won’t find a friendlier welcome than at the Playwright Irish Pub (on 35th street, between 5th and 6th). The drinks are reasonably priced and, if you go on St Patrick’s Day, the Guinness is green!
