Since then, she’s dealt with the death of Florence, her beloved half-sister Caroline, seen her father diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and divorced her husband Matthew Robertson, with whom she has three kids. Admitting she had to ‘grieve’ when she gave up drink, she explained, ‘It was sad but alcohol was the gateway to drugs for me, and it would still be.’ Her plans for the future? ‘I’m getting a massive tattoo at 60, I’m going to do Iron Man at 70 (the world’s hardest one-day triathlon) and wear a bikini at 90!’
