‘I’ve lost one-and-a-half stone’



Su­sanna Reid, who di­eti­cian He­len Bond reck­ons is a per­fect 10, is look­ing amaz­ing on GMB these days – and it’s partly down to her giv­ing up booze. The 48-year-old ITV pre­sen­ter ad­mit­ted to los­ing a stone last Novem­ber and main­tains she never goes to the gym (hur­rah!) – and her weight­loss is down to be­ing tee­to­tal and us­ing the app No More Han­govers to track her progress, as well as tak­ing tips from boxer Tyson Fury, which in­cluded giv­ing up milk in her cof­fee. Su­sanna re­cently re­vealed that her mo­ti­va­tion was sparked by a health warn­ing from a doc­tor. The mum-ofthree was headed to­wards the higher end of a scale of what is con­sid­ered to be a healthy on her BMI – thus kick-start­ing her de­ci­sion to go tee­to­tal. ‘I’ve lev­elled out,’ she says. ‘But I lost a stone and a half with go­ing to the gym.’ Looks like things are go­ing very well in­deed in other parts of Su­sanna’s pri­vate life, too – af­ter di­vorc­ing Do­minic Cot­ton four years ago, she has re­cently be­gun a new re­la­tion­ship with chair­man of foot­ball club Crys­tal Palace FC, Steve Par­ish. Clearly, the ‘love diet’ is work­ing won­ders!
