Curvy Kel looks blooming gorgeous
Kelly Brook’s jaw-dropping hourglass curves have been her trademark since she won a modelling competition aged just 16. And stepping out in London last week, it was clear that the former TV presenter – who has fluctuated between a size eight and a size 16 in recent years – has lost none of her va-va-voom.
Teaming a pink patterned blouse with blue jeans, she looked relaxed, stylish and, most importantly, glowing with happiness.
Now working as a radio DJ co-hosting a show on Heart FM alongside Jason King, she is blissfully settled with boyfriend Jeremy Parisi, who she’s been dating since 2012.
A French/Italian model, six years her junior, they met when she approached him for fitness advice. Despite the fact that Kelly, 39, has had a rather turbulent love life and been engaged four times, she recently declared that Jeremy is ‘the one’.
However, she caused a bit of controversy when she revealed during an appearance on Loose Women last year that he sometimes tries to police her intake of booze and highcalorie snacks.
‘I’m always the person who’s like, “Let’s have another drink, let’s have a dessert.” He’ll be like, “You had a dessert last night, you don’t need one tonight,” or “You had a drink this afternoon, you don’t need another one,”’ she said. This led to some commentators to describe Jeremy as ‘controlling’.
But Kelly dismisses this as nonsense, and had previously said that since being with Jeremy, she is actually more relaxed around food.
‘Being with him, I’ve definitely gained a few pounds, if not stones. And you know what? I love it. It’s not even comfort eating. There’s so much love in our relationship and love in our family.
‘ We all sit and eat together and it’s very Italian. I think my figure is definitely reflecting that.
‘I put on weight because I was getting older, my body was changing and my lifestyle changed. It wasn’t like I was bingeeating takeaways because I was depressed.
‘And actually, I look at old pictures of myself and sometimes when you’re at your skinniest, you’re not at your happiest. I definitely feel like some of the moments over the past couple of years, when I’ve been at my heaviest, I’ve been at my happiest.’
Well, whatever she’s doing, it’s clearly paying off – we think she looks fabulous.
