When Darcey Bussell – who turns 50 this week – announced she was stepping down from her position as Strictly Come Dancing judge, everyone started speculating as to who could step into her fabulous shoes. At best, our bet is on the lovely Oti Mabuse, who is not only an incredible professional dancer on the show but has already had practice at rating other people on The Greatest Dancer. Yet, a surprise candidate has offered up her services – the wonderful Alison Hammond! The This Morning showbiz presenter, 44, tweeted her interest, saying, ‘This is my moment, I’ll take over from here, Darcey.’ Although her ‘ laughing face’ emoji suggests she was kidding, we’d love to see her on the panel!
