Move over Jane McDonald, there’s a new diva afloat the ocean waves, in the form of the one and only Dame Edna Everage! Following her emotional farewell tour marking the culminatio­n of her 50-year career in showbusine­ss, the incorrigib­le Dame has been enjoying downtime on her super-yacht, the Ocean Widow. But, for one night only, she has welcomed some special guests aboard – including Sharon Osbourne, Robert (AKA Judge) Rinder, Strictly’s Joe Sugg, actress and comedian Emily Atack and presenter Anita Rani. Steering the Ocean Widow is Captain Rudolph Walker, who also performs his hit single, Reggae Woman, and chef Rick Stein is slaving in the galley, knocking up treats for the passengers. And it’s all finished off by a performanc­e from Nile Rodgers and Chic. Climb aboard!

You can count on chills aplenty in this new version of Bram Stoker’s gothic tale about the Transylvan­ian blood sucker. It’s 1897, and the count is heading to Victorian London. This new three-part series, shown over three nights, is made by the team behind Sherlock and is led by Danish actor Claes Bang as the count.

In this new series of Midsomer, Barnaby is unimpresse­d when Sarah drags him to a family friend’s wedding. But, of course, murder ensues and he is soon on the trail of a killer who targets brides.
