Kim K divorce!: ‘I’m done’
Hollywood’s Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are rumoured to be heading for divorce…
Four babies, one wedding and a scandalous engagement ring robbery later – it seems America’s golden couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, are reportedly going their separate ways after six years of marriage.
Neither the reality star nor the rapper has commented on the claims, but the pair have been living apart for months – even spending Christmas separately, with Kim, 40, in LA while Kanye, 43, relocated to his ranch in Wyoming.
The stars got married in a lavish ceremony in Florence in 2014 and share children, North, seven, Saint, five, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two – but now allegedly plan to continue on different paths, since Kim is busy with her new law career, and Kanye is occupied with politics.
West has voiced support for Trump in the past, while Kim was recently ‘Team Biden’, although not so long ago she claimed, ‘I let [Kanye] be who he wants to be. I let him have his own views and opinions, even if they’re different than mine.’
But now the mum-of-four is believed to have hired famous lawyer Laura Wasser – whom she used in her previous divorce to NBA star Kris Humphries, in 2013.
It was reported the marriage was in deep trouble in the second half of 2020 when Kanye labelled his mother-inlaw – Kris Jenner – ‘Kris Jong-Un’ while trying to run for US president on Twitter, and that Kim was ready to end the relationship when he began to struggle with his bipolar disorder.
The rapper also added in July, ‘I been trying to get divorced since Kim met with Meek at the Warldolf [sic] for “prison reform”,’ seeming to refer to a criminal justice summit attended by Kim and rapper Meek Mill in November 2018.
The stunning brunette allegedly believed it would be cruel to leave him at the time and addressed their issues in marriage counselling.
