She is still, arguably, one of the sexiest women on the planet, so you might think finding the perfect man wouldn’t be too much of an issue.
But after two messy divorces, Sharon Stone, 63, has branched out into dating apps.
Speaking recently about her new book, The Beauty of Living Twice (published by Allen & Unwin), the mum-ofthree adopted boys confessed, ‘I’m trying online dating again and found it a cool learning experience, especially during Covid, when you really know you can’t get together.’
She is not expecting that any of those chats learning about ‘how men think’ are going to lead to a relationship, but said the calls mean she’s learnt ‘a little bit more’ about how to talk to the opposite sex.
This isn’t her first try at using the online route to find love either. Three years ago, she signed up to Bumble
– but found her account blocked, as it was assumed (unsurprisingly!) to be a fake.
Sharon, who recently starred in hit Netflix series Ratched, has now admitted, ‘I don’t know if I’m a person who’s going to get to have a relationship in my life… but I still hope that I am.’
Certainly, Sharon’s love-life to date has been anything but straightforward.
Last Summer, the twice-divorced actress said she was having a ‘hard time’ coming to terms with the shock suicide of her former flame, film producer Steve Bing (who was also Liz Hurley’s ex, and father to her son Damian) – whom Sharon dated from the Nineties to 2004.
Talking of his loss, she admitted, ‘This is really hard. He’s a complicated person who I didn’t think always made good decisions. It’s a very tough one.’
Hopefully, though, good things are round the corner – possibly even a new romance.
Because it’s never too late – especially when you’re Sharon Stone.
