THE FOUR GOLDEN RULES

Even though you may have instant success with the Hypnotic Gastric Band

programme, it’s important that you use the four golden rules that are the foundation of my whole system. They help to support the changes you are making in your life.

1 When you are hungry, eat!

It’s very important to make the distinctio­n between real physical hunger and emotional hunger. Real hunger is a simple physical feeling in your stomach. Sometimes we mistake emotional discomfort for hunger. We imagine if we eat, we will feel better. But food doesn’t fix emotions, it just covers them over temporaril­y.

2 Eat what you want, not what you think you should

As soon as you make a food forbidden, it becomes all you can think about. That’s why with your hypnotic gastric band and my system, there are no forbidden foods. The more you pay attention to your body, the more you will realise that hunger is not just a simple need for energy. You will begin to notice you are hungry for a specific food such as fish, or salad, or cake. You will notice you prefer one vegetable to another, and so on.

3 Whenever you eat, do it consciousl­y

This is possibly the most powerful piece of advice I can give you.

● Pay attention to what you are eating and nothing else.

● Slow your eating speed right down.

4 When you think you are full, stop eating!

The brilliant thing about Hypnotic Gastric Band is that it gives you a clear, unmistakab­le signal from your stomach as soon as you are full. If, at first, you are not sure if you are feeling the satiety signal correctly, stop eating for three or four minutes and see if you are still actually hungry. If you are not, you got it right and you will start to feel relaxed. If you are still hungry, eat and watch out for the signal again.
