THE REFLECTIVE SPORTING SOCKS THAT JUST WRRK

- Review by Tom Wibberley

As someone who regularly rides to and from work and around to local amenities it was refreshing to see both functionality and aesthetic design come into one with Wrrknit reflective socks. It’s always a joy to review a product where the maker clearly understands their target audience.

I have been using the Wrrknit reflective socks for over a month now and they are impressive on multiple fronts. The socks are all comfortable, light and breathable and after three weeks of using one pair particularly vigorously they still are holding up strong. No real noticeable sign of damage or fading; which is surprising for a sock that uses such a thin fabric.

Wrrknit reflective socks are an immediate snug fit to most average sized feet and users will notice an aerate effect when exercising with them on. The socks advertise COOLMAX moisture wicking yarns that with my use seems to hold up Wrrknit’s statement of ‘keeping away moisture’.

Cycling at distance made this most evident especially when compared to non sporting socks.

Designed in the USA Wrrknit brings bold and functional socks to the market with a style that improves performance and also

tries to help you keep safe. Boasting a small catalogue of various designs and colour sets the socks are available in three main designs. ‘Geo’ is a funky style geometric pattern, ‘multi-stripe’ is a more traditional styled design & ‘splatter’ my personal favourite is a splotched paint style mishap sewn onto the sock. Additionally all designs are available in three colour sets to pick from. One of the quirky safety features the socks have is a reflective strip for visibility. Great for the outdoors in the darker hours of the day. Each design has its own unique (some slightly more conspicuous that others) strip to help you be visible.

I could imagine myself wearing these socks for any and all types of exercise.

Wrrknit whilst advertised for pretty much all sporting activities I think is especially suited for the cycling market. They aren’t obstructive to daily use however. I felt very comfortable slipping on a pair even if I was to go for a simple walk or even staying inside reading a book.

Some small thoughts on what we’d love to see in the future to make the product even better. We’d like to see more colours and more great designs from Wrrknit’s reflective socks - as there is definitely scope! Customisation options would add more individuality and avenues of use for people. Colour changes or options to add an amount of reflective strip. Some activities may require more or less reflectivity depending on their exercise or maybe even none at all! And since each design has its own reflective pattern, the idea of changing these locations or mix and matching them is exciting! We will be excited to see how Wrrknit builds on this product Sizes

available are effectively separated by men and women for a one size fits all. They are available right now worldwide and at the time of writing Wrrknit has a sale on all of its socks to celebrate women’s history month.
