Falling short

First James Haydon told us Michael Dunlop would be hindered at the TT for lack of fitness. Now we have Pete Boast telling us John Mcguinness wouldn’t have done anything special on a sorted Fireblade because he hadn’t done enough short circuit racing (Bike, August 2017). So how much short circuit racing had Michael Dunlop, Dean Harrison, Bruce Anstey or James Hillier done then? The TT is not short circuit racing.
