Tricker treat

We’ve had them for 11 years and they’ve done 3000 miles and still look like new. Yamaha Tricker – petit 250cc cross between a trail bike and a trials bike. Excellent for my partner due to her diminutive stature. We’ve toured all around the world on big bikes and primarily use the Trickers for off-roading in the hills just behind our house. And then we saw Hugo’s article (Bike, October 2016) about trail riding in the Pyrenees and thought, ‘ride down there, spend two days in the mountains and then ride home.’ We’d both harboured dreams about doing a tour on the Trickers but never found enough reason to do one. Now we had one. It was the best decision we ever made. Everyone who tours should try it on a small bike. Up over Andorra and down the fantastic N240 to Ripol.
