Kawasaki Ninja 400
Entry-level sportsbike gets a 33% capacity hike
We’re fond of Kawasaki’s A2-friendly sportster. The parallel-twin might have its roots in the 31-year-old GPX250, but caning the freerevving unit as the light chassis skips down a knotted B-road is fun. Now it’s faster fun, as the Ninja 300 becomes the 400, with new 399cc motor (needed for Euro 4). Revised chassis with chunkier fork too, plus a slimmer seat for easy foot-dabbing and a full bodywork redesign.
