R MODELS

The 690 Duke R arrived in 2010 with a higher capacity engine taking the model to 690cc for the first time. Lightly-tweaked suspension meant it was sharper on the road. The ‘R’ is still around, but now features an Akrapovic silencer, 15mm more ground clearance, an upgraded M50 Brembo front caliper, and semi-adjustable WP suspension. All that for £1300 above the current base model. Back in 2010, the R cost just £200 more than standard.
