BMW’S entry-level RR

This is the new Apache RR 310 made by Indian firm TVS. It’s based on BMW’S G310 models – BMW and TVS developed the 310s together, and the RR has the G310R’S trellis frame and 313cc reversehead, rear-leaning 34bhp single. There’s an upside-down front end, Bybre (‘by Brembo’) brake, the tank holds 11 litres and there’s a fancy digital dash. It’s 170kg wet – the same as Kawasaki’s Ninja 300. Will we see a BMW G310RR next year? We hope so, though it’ll cost a tad more than in India, where it’s under £2500.
