Where’s my niche?
I have to choose a new bike, but what? My current bike is a Kawasaki ER6N, great but I’ve decided I’m not a fan of the Teenage Ninja-turtle-transformer-plastic wing-jet fighter-batmobile look of many of today’s nakeds, superbikes and supernakeds. So what else is there? Cruiser? Nah. Tourer? Not yet. Adventure? Nope. Adventure scooters? Certainly not. Scrambler, café racer, heritage or supermoto? Closer, but wallet still in pocket. Retros? Warmer. But hang on, what’s this? Neo café racer-like Husqvana’s Vitspilen? Oh yes! I don’t know how manufacturers do it, but they somehow create a niche for everyone.
