Sort the snatch

Again and again I read your testers moaning about snatchy on-off throttles. I’ve tested the Tracer, new Street Triple, MT-10, and Triumph Bobber and they all suffer from it, and in last month’s test you say the new Kawasaki Z900RS suffers too. Ok, you can get a remap but why should you? Ride by wire seems a good idea in theory but in practice it hasn’t been perfected yet. Manufacturers really need to sort this. No problems for me as I have a new ZZR1400 and it’s sweet as a nut. My son, however, has the MT-10 SP and had to fork out over £400 to smooth out the ride.
