ABS
The 2009 600RR was the first in the model’s history to be fitted with a C ABS system that combines front and rear braking. Pull the lever, and pressure at the brake lines is detected by a sensor that then applies pressure to the caliper through Ecu-controlled power units. Resistance at the lever is artificially created by a piston, but riders say it’s virtually undetectable. All 600RRS from 2013 onwards are Abs-equipped.
