How very un-harley. The 748cc V-twin is liquid-cooled with 12:1 compression and Mikuni injection. There’s 48 lb.ft and almost 70bhp, delivered with a chirpy, smooth, revvy character – think Suzuki SV650. It’s happy to quietly thrum or chase the rev limiter at almost 9000rpm, the throttle’s light, fuelling glitch-free, and though not super-slick the six-speed gearbox is clean. Clutchless shifts on a Harley? Strewth. It’s only used a cup of oil in 3000-odd miles too.
