SO WHAT’S HAPPENED TO THE COOKING VERSION?

-

Honda’s standard Africa Twin receives some of the Adventure Sports’ changes for 2018. Most noticeable is the new instrument panel and seven-stage traction control. Elsewhere, there’s a new lithium-ion battery, stainless steel wheel spokes, self-cancelling indicators, emergency brake lights, wider footpegs for easier off-road control, and redesigned pillion ’peg brackets for less interference during stand-up riding. A smaller-capacity exhaust provides more growl, and redesigned airbox and balancer shaft improve midrange response. All this with a 2kg weight reduction and £11,575 on the road. Expect £12,549 for the DCT.
