Who gives a…

Today I was looking through my husband’s May 2018 issue of Bike, in particular the article ‘The joy of filtering’ by your contributor John Westlake. I was not impressed to read his comment concerning the Chris Evans radio show using the ‘F’ word which I am not prepared to write in full, as he did. This in my opinion is not necessary and lowers the tone of your otherwise informative magazine that I had thought suitable for all to read. This word appears acceptable in other circumstances, but surely not in your magazine. I wonder if his reference to his ‘shagged’ 50cc scooter is also necessary ? Mrs Jo Bell, email The profanities from office conversations sometimes slip into print. Apologies. But, empatically, Westlake’s scooter is shagged.
