Our bike has been heavily accessorised, with heated grips (£339), full Akrapovic exhaust (£997) and top box (£810). If you are going to use one all year round then haggle hard for the grips. Honda’s topbox is decent quality, but aftermarket alternatives are better value. Tyres are Dunlop Sportmax D2221, which have lasted well but suffered a few wet weather slips. The battery is easily accessible for attaching heated kit and satnav wires.
