Home from home
Last year our business took on the operation of the Homestay scheme on behalf of the Isle of Man Government. It’s basically b&b for TT and Festival of Motorcycling visitors. We are discovering the Homestay scheme is unique in the way its hosts open their homes to visitors from around the world and go the extra mile to help them experience the spectacle of racing around the mountain circuit. It’s not uncommon for hosts to pick up their guests from the airport or ferry, transport them to/from various vantage points, sometimes with a packed lunch, or even offer a lift to the pub (and back).
