Maxi scooters rule
I’m now in the upper reaches of my 50s and find most bikes are too uncomfortable. The solution? Maxi scooters. It’s probably the main reason older guys buy them, that and the fact they can’t swing a leg over an 830mm seat. I see even fast Freddie was on one in the June issue and bless Honda for DCT. Don’t assume maxi scoots mean you’ve gone off bikes. Far from it, it’s about staying on two wheels. Colin Bridgland, email
