Economical truth

I was keen to read your story about the Kawasaki H2 SX’S trip around Europe in a weekend – Bike, June. Sports tourers are my thing. I’ve owned a Honda Blackbird, Honda VFR800 and two Kawasaki ZZR1400S in the past. I currently have a BMW R1200RS. So the H2 SX ticks lots of boxes for me. How disappointing that it seems to be designed (or at least marketed) with a supercharger for economy, but only averages 44mpg. My RS does over 50mpg. My 240bhp car also does better.
