Ducati Panigale V4S. No arguments here. The Ducati’s engine has a more frightening top-end than the ZX 10R, yet its bulging midrange is as easy to tap into as the GSX R, R1M and S1000RR. So while John put in his fastest laps on the V4S only straying into the top 4000rpm on the straight, James could use all 214bhp to get within 2 seconds of the outright lap record set by an F1 driver in a Le Mans car.
