Roads to ride: The B3306 St Ives to St Just goes over the moors and there are fantastic sea views. Visit Goonhilly Earth Station or the abandoned Predannack Airfield with old Hawker Hunters just lying around. Places to stay: The Sloop Inn (£115/night) is busy, and out of season full of fishermen and artists. The Pedn Olva (£70/night) is right on the water. Food and drink: Try the fish chowder at the Gunard’s Head on the B3306. The Tinners in Zennor is a 747-year-old pub with big fire and dark wood panels. Drink beer at the Pilchard Press in St Ives.
