Knife crime

FYI: carrying a multi-tool such as a Leatherman (Bike, August) can and will be classed as an offensive weapon if it qualifies under the new knife laws. The blade on mine is 3.25 inches and is lockable, both are an offence under the new knife laws. You may be best to highlight the models available without knife attachment and which offer a non-locking three inch or less pen knife. Rob Olive, email
