The looks have it
Thanks for letting us know the Yamaha XSR900 is the best ride of the four retros on test (Bike, August). But surely kerbside appeal counts for more than 50% of what attracts people to these bikes. Taking that into consideration I can’t see how the Yam would make it onto any retro-bike buyers shortlist, no matter how competent it is. So cheers for the advice but I’ll have a 900RS with snatchy throttle, and great looks. Paul Cannings, email
