Three relaxed summer cruisers…
LIVING IN AWE OF BIKE’S HARLEY FOOL Mark Graham, as I do, my unfathomable lust for a modern sport-cruiser – a category I may just have invented – continues unabated. Herewith three possible candidates…
Harley Street Rod £5495
than colour merely the 20% Over clock. more list, and a 1600 grand in Boasting power, with the miles best less 10% on more better the stock torque handling Street and (a than previous perverse object desire), of the only gripe would be the much criticised riding position. However, with a little ingenuity and not much money, ’bars and ’pegs can be changed and I’d enjoy the warranty oered by Robin Hood Harleydavidson, even if I had to travel 150 miles to hand over the dosh.
Kawasaki Vulcan S650 £4190
launch and impressed I went was for on pretty the both the Vulcan test with its spirited surprisingly performance, sure-footed handling and disarmingly smooth and when appropriate, suitably relaxed ride. But then with what’s basically an ER6 lump in bad boy fatigues, what’s not to like? This is an early model that’s been professionally wrapped with matt livery. It comes with heated grips and a few other aermarket trinkets and has clearly been cherished by a sole owner.
Moto Guzzi V9 Bobber £7699
between quite spanking 950Rs It’s a a that toss-up few this Yamaha brand are and XV similarly Certainly below list discounted. at the £1300 V9 Bobber is hard to beat. The smartypants fat front tyre does nothing to harm the Italian bike’s de-but-sure handling, the performance is if anything a tad superior to the equally handsome Yam, and Guzzi build-quality is tons better than of yore. Plus if you want to go touring a 15 litre fuel tank and comfy ride just best the XV950R.
