I’ve waited over 40 years for this helmet and now I can nally live out my huge Star Wars xation. HJC have taken their FG70S (£119) and replicated Luke Skywalker’s X-wing pilot’s lid with help from Lucas lm. It’s really comfortable, with lovely attention to detail and is very well made. The magic moment though is pulling down the orange visor, you feel ready to take on the Empire. Plus the world looks happier through the tint. The ratchet chin strap is easy to use but the downsides are it’s eye-watering over 35mph and the price tag will put o‘ many.

The Force is strong with this helmet but above all it’s putting a bit of fun into biking
