Yes the V4 version would be preferable, but there’s never much wrong with a big V-twin either – especially Aprilia’s 60-degree 998cc engine. The RSV is a great bike, but as the late summer/early autumn years roll on, I just can’t be arsed with clip-ons and rearsets any longer, and street ghtering anything remains a cardinal sin. So, if our friends in Noale have been decent enough to build a brilliant sit-up-and-beg V-twin that remains steadfastly cheap, it’d be nuts not to get involved.
