PORTUGUESE POWERHOUSE
Portugal’s Rusty Wrench Motorcycles started as an accessory and clothing shop but owner Francisco Correia caught the custom bug early on winning plaudits with his first build, a suitably black CBR600 (right). Next up, Suzuki’s big GSX1200… Halfway between a café racer and ’tracker RW’S handiwork involved the replacement of the rear subframe, to carry a nifty, pillion-able seat, which also houses the rear light. The USD forks are off a GSX¤R1100 but with six-piston Tokiko calipers. Yes, the GSX tank is basically retained, but RW inserted a speedo just behind a flushmounted fuel cap giving the headstock a less cluttered aspect, and onto which they stuck a pair of low-rise ’bars fitted with indicators.
