TT: the gift that just keeps giving

I rode to my first TT with eight friends this year. What an experience. And one of the many highlights was Peter Hickman’s maiden win. We met him the day after at the Creek Inn, Peel. He couldn’t have been more humble. He had a bike at the pub and we laughed about his complete absence of chicken strips. He said: ‘I once rode this so hard that the tyre folded over the rim and left the impression of the tyre name on the rim.’ I tried to remember that at the three fast corners after the Gooseneck on my Tuono Factory.
