It’s easy to be negative about this attempt to wring cash from Suzuki’s back catalogue. But the GSX S1000 is a good bike, let down by dowdy styling and dodgy on-off throttle fuelling. If Suzuki have fixed all that – the Katana styling seems to hit the spot – then what’s not to like? Now all we need is a new Suzuki that did what the Katana did in 1981.
