To Wallonia

I read with interest Ben Lindley guide to Wallonia (Bike, January 2018). However, I’m a bit snooty about people who ride to Europe and stop before they get to the Vosges or the Alps, because it looks like a missed opportunity. Despite this three of us left early one Friday morning for a recce of Bens routes. We did Tournai to Chimay and then onto a hotel in France, then on Saturday we explored the Ardennes. Now we tour on our bikes for the roads and not for the destinations or POIS. Based on the fact that men are like fires – they go out when not watched – I will be going back to Wallonia to ride Ben’s other routes. So thanks Mr Lindley for your research and your inspiring writing. If you find anymore gems do share.
