MV’S 500 triple ruled GPS in the ’60s – so Cardani copied it. Imitating MV right down to bore and stroke, it was by Daniele Fontana of brake-making fame – it’d be like Mr Brembo taking on HRC in Motogp. Brit privateer ace Jack Findlay tested it in ’68, but the bike wouldn’t run properly. The project collapsed.
