º Despite the chunky tread pattern, the stock Metzeler Karoo Streets behave like a decent sports touring tyre, with good grip in wet and dry, and a smooth turn in. The main disadvantage of the macho off-road tread pattern is rear tyre wear – ours was terminally squared off at 3500 miles.
