When MV Agusta were resurrected at the end of the 1990s, the first batch of their new F4 750 sportsbike (which had originally been planned as a Cagiva) was a limited-edition ‘Serie Oro’. They used super-light magnesium for the swingarm, wheels and pivot plates, anodised gold (which is ‘oro’ in Italian), and all the bodywork was carbon. This bike is number 235 of the 300 bikes released in May 1999, and is spanking-new old stock. Yes, as in never used or registered or anything. Got to be better for the front room than some obscure art or a pointless home cinema.
